On Wednesday 27th ulto. we conducted a clearing sale at Tataraimaka on gecount of Mr H. Lett. Sundries, implements, horses, etc., maintained values easily on a tfar with last season's prices, the cattle, however, were not so keenly sought after, as prices indicate, but they afforded fair competition nevertheless, and had the season been further advancsd would no doubt have sold better. Stock quotations as follows:—Cows £lO to £l3; light unbroken horses ranging from 3 to 5 years £l2 to £18; aged mare £lO/10; baconers £4/15; small lambs 5/3. At Westown on the following day we conducted a clearing sale on account of Mr H. J. Major, at which buyers attended in big numbers, and we report a bright sale throughout.
