PHILHARMONIC SOCIETY
ANNUAL -MEETING.
Mr J. A. Nash, M-R-. presided over the annual meeting of the Palmerston North Philharmonic Society, which was held last night. The election of officers for the year resulted: —Patron, Mr P. A. McHardy; president, Mr J. A. Nash, M.P.; vice-presidents, Messrs A. Hannay, Colonel Melville, M, Cohen and E. L, Broad; secretary, Miss Mundy; treasurer, Mr P. Morgan: hon. librarian, Mr P. L. Wilson; committee, Messrs J. B. Wilton, G. Holdaway, Capt. Packman, Mesdames Broad. Hannay and Wilson. Votes of thanks were carried to the conductor, Mr J. Holmes HunnicJes; Mrs Patou, accompanist; and the orchestra and Orpheus Society for tne very valuable assistance rendered to thb society.
