OROUA DRAINAGE BOARD.
At yesterday’s special meeting of the Oroua Land Drainage Board, tenders were accepted for contracts as follows:—Contract No. 4 ‘(Smith’s Drain), E. Behrent, 3/2 per chain; No. 7 (Artesian), Lewis and Cribb, 3/ per chain; No. 8 (Willow), Mndford, Boswell and Kinsett, 2/3 per chain; No. 9 (Dalton’s), Mudford, Boswell and Kingess’), Poi Poi Poi Pcnc, 3/ per chain. The time for closing tenders for Contract 6 was extended fill the next tenders were called. Tenders will close on April 5 for the undermentioned drains:— Campbell Continuation,, Ruhvaldt’s, Sanhill, Clark and Tompkins’, Costall’s, Bush, JVlilner’s, Goebel’s, and the continuation of Goebel ’s.
