In reference to the 'insurrection at Tonk, official information is sup. pressed by the press and letters state British troops have been engaged at RachemiLn and Muhawe. The insurgent leader, claims successes in Northern including the occupation of Doiralzoe.
A Baghdad officiaj message states that the region is peaceful, also that the leader was defeated by the French east of Aleppo as far back as January 4 and is still a refugee east of the Euphrates.
