MASTERTON SHOW.
Though general entries for the Masterton Show, which is to be held on February 15th and 16th, closed on Saturday last, late entries will be taken up till next Saturday on the payment of a late entry fee. The entries which are to hand indicate that there will be a particularly fine display of sheep, cattle and horses, while the ring competitions should be the best seen at Masterton for many years, The stock exhibited at the show this year will undoubtedly be of a very high quality standard as many of the most prominent breeders in the Dominion will bring stock forward. The programme of ring events should prove of more than the usual attraction to the general public. Special trains to suit visitors from the North and South will run to Solway on show clays. As there is a likelihood of a record attendance at the show this year visitors will be well advised to book their accommodation beforehand, and all information in this connection can be obtained from the secretary, Mr It. H.' Williams, P.O. Box 40, Masterton. A large number of entries have been received for the ram fair, which is to/' be held on the two days following the show.
