SENIOR FREE PLACES.
FOR TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
The senior free places gained by pupils of the Palmerston North Technical School this year constitute a record for the school, 38 students having passed the examination, which entitles tkem to three year's free tuition at the school. The previous highest number was 27. On the recommendation of the Director (Mr F D Opie), the following have been granted free places:—Hazel Allen, Nellie Allen, Vera Arcus, Ella Bailey, Mabel Cooper, Dougas Corson, Bessie Dawick, Mona Davis, Jennie Davis Norman Dixon,, Dorothy Ellis, Charles Freeman, Lanritz Freeman, Nita Foster, Ivy Gillion, Gladys Griggs, Una Guy. Gertie Wiggins, Mabel Wasley, Gwen Young, Ida Wycherley, N Hardie, Irene Giorgi, Mona Jordan,'Kose Kearney, Evelyn King. Winifred Kay, Leo Levy.
