CHRISTMAS TREE SOCIAL.

Members of the Druids' Lodge are reminded of the annual Christmas tree social, which is to be held on Friday next in the big hall at the Show grounds. The social is open to all Druids, their wives and children, and will commence promptly at 7 o'clock. The chief attraction will be the Christmas tree laden with toys of every description, which will be distributed to the children by a real Father Christmas. There will also be a baby show, with prizes for the best baby boy and girl under twelve months, races and games, children's dancing, lolly scrambles, and a prize for the Druid who has the largest family present at the function. Refreshments will be supplied, and members' Wives and lady friends are asked to assist with these. Mr A. Cooksley, care of Watts' cycle depot, will Vic pleased to hear from those who arc willing to assist.
