MANAWATU LAND DR A ]NA G E BOARD. jNjrOTICE is hereby given that, it is the intention of the Manawatu Land Drainage Board at a Meeting of the Board to be belt! on the 4th day of October, 1920, to make a General Rate under the provisions of the Rating Act, 1908, and “The Land Drainage Act. 1908,” and »e----spective amendments on a graduated scale on the rateable value of all properties in the Board's District (except on lands classified as number 4) of Three-Tenths of a penny in the £ on lands classified as number 1, of Twelve-Fiftieths of a penny in the £ on lands classified as number 2 and of One-Fifth of a penny in the £ on lands classified as number 3 and a Special Rate on the rateable value of all properties in the Board’s District (except on lands classified as number 4) of One-Twentieth of a penny in the £ on lands classified as number 1, of Two-Fiftieths of a penny in the £ on lands classified as number 2, and of One-Twenty-Seventh of a penny in the £ on lands classified as number 3 for the period commencing on the 31st day of April, 1920, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1921. Such rate to be payable in one sum on the 20th day of October, 192 0, at the Office of the Board, Ranghikei Street, Palmerston North. The Valuation Roll and Rate Book are open for inspection at the Office of the Board on each week day except Saturday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Saturday between the hours of 10 a.m and 12 noon.
