RABBITSKIN MARKET REPORT. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows: —We held our regular fortnightly sale on Monday, 14th June, when we submitted a good selection of skins to a full attendance of buyers. Competition was again keen. The lower grades of skins did not quite reach the level of last sale, while the later-caught skins sold at a higher level. The quality of the skins is improving every sale and this partly accounts for the higher proportionate prices for winters. In face of the unsettled state of the London market, the result of yesterday's sale should be satisfactory to clients. Our catalogue contained a good selection of skins and prices obtained for winters were above our expectation. A few selected winter does brought up to as high as 96 id and selected winter blacks touched 140 d per lb. In recommending clients to continue forwarding their consignments regularly to the Dunedin market, we do so, feeling that is in their best interests while the Home markets are so unsettled and uncertain. The following are the prices obtained by us at yesterday's sale: —Runners and suckers up to 14* d per lb, summers 22d, light racks 22id, heavy racks 24 3d, prime racks 28d. early autumns 45d, late autumns incoming winters 542 d, early winter bucks Gild, do. does 64d, winter bucks 64?. d, winter does 7 ~>"id, first winter bucks GGJd, first winter does 90id, mixed fawns 32-} d winter fawns G3Jd, summer blacks 30d, autumn blacks 50d, second winter blacks 73d, first winter blacks 120 d. hareskins 20} d. horsehair 30d. catskins (each) 9d, summer broken 132 d, autumn broken 18d, winter broken 30id, milky does. 14-d.
