Lighter skins showed a deXe of fifty per cent, compared with April prices, but hardened later, closing at thirty-five per cent. down. There was good competition tor the Jest sorts, at a live per cent decline. Seventeen hundred bales-were offend. :il „i ; ,hout half were withdrawn.
