BUYING WOOL.

[Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] LONDON, June 1 5. Lord Forster and Lord Derby, when negotiating on behalf of Britain in the wool transactions, offered 45 per cent, above pre-war profits, but Mr Fisher and Mr Massey insisted on Eventually Lord Derby irately exclaimed: "if we cannot have the wool at our price sve can withhold the ships and prevent you marketing." This caused an impasse.
