Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that at Palmerston North on the 4th inst., we had a good yarding- of sheep and a small entry of cattle. We quote as follows:—2-th-weth-ers 23/6, 23/11, 24/4 to 27/6, 2 and 4-th ewes to 23/, 4 and 5-year ewes 20/ to 21/6, S.D. rams 2Jgns, s£> to 6igns, forward cows £6, £7, £8 to £9, forward heifers £6 18/ to £7 2/6, bulls £4 10/ to £6 18/. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Feilding on the sth inst. we had a heavy yarding of sheep and a good entry of cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers and practically all our entry changed hands at satisfactory prices. We quote as follows:—Sheep: Lincoln skinned ewes 25/6, 4 and 6-th ewes to 27/8, s.m. ewes 21/ to 26/, fat maiden ewes 36/, fat and forward ewes 26/7 to 30/2, 2-th wethers 27/1, 33/4 to 28/7, mixed 2-tha 26/3, 32/6, 35/1 to 35/6, lambs 12/1, 13/9, 16/5, 17/4 to 21/; rams, S.D. 4£gns, Lincolns £2 2/, Romneys £2 2/ to 3?.gns. Cattle: 3 i -year bullocks £l2 15/, forward cows and heifers to £9 11/, store cows £3, £6 to £7 10/, cows and calves to £6 5/, 18-month steers £5 5/ to £5 11/, 2-year steers to £7 15/, 18-month heifers r.w.b. to £6 15/, dairy cows £B, £9 to £l4 10/, weaner heifers £2 5/ to £2 10/, bulls £5 15/, £l4 10/ to £ls 7/6.
