REMEDIAL MEASURES IN JAPAN

The Japanese Labour Party, protesting against the high cost of living, have started a movement to secure s reorganisation of the Cabinet. Mr Kci Kara (the Premier) called an official conference at which it was decided that a public market should bo established in each city of 50,000 inhabitants, and loans should bo advanced af low interest to those who wish to build homes. It was also suggested that tho tariffs on imported food should bo removed.
