OBSCUR AN ITST ASSERTION S. R EVOLUTIONARY OUTBREAK EXPECTED. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] LONDON, November 29. Everyone is on the alert, and expects a mild revolutionary outbreak in Ireland. The authorities and the majoi ity of the people almost hope that a climax will come soon. Lives will be lost, and property will be destroyed hut an outbreak will mean the Extremists reaching the end of their resources. The authorities have no doubt that there is a rift In the ranks of the Sinn Eein concerning the policy of outrage and murder. The moderates, at a record meeting of the Daileirann (Irish Parliament) denounced the cowardly killing of policemen, and the brutalities inflicted on women and old men in connection with the searches for firearms. . The Irish volunteers now form a compact secret society. Four regi ■ incuts' completely equipped and officced. exist in Dublin alone, and their strength elsewhere is proportionate. Members and officials of the Daileirann were forced to take the seditious oath "prescribed for the volunteers. The authorities believe that the Sinn Fein, in spite of the bludgeoning of the Meliorates, is increasingly antagonising the labourites, farmers, and small shopkeepers. £SOOO REWARD. (Received Thursday, 9.40 p.m.) DUBLIN, December 2. The Lord Lieutenant offers a reward of £SOOO for the detection of the murderers of policemen in Dublin recently. JURY SYSTEM SUSPENDED. (Received Thursday, 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, December 1. It is reported that trial by jury is to be suspended in Ireland, three judges replacing the jury system.
