Wo report a splendid Furniture sale on behalf of Mrs Jenkins, Feathcrston Street, on Wednesday last; all arrangements were satisfactory, and prices throughout were exceptionally good. The sale of Alexander Clark, Ltd.'s, fire stocks showed a total clearance at satisfactory prices. Saturday's Mart sale was a record one. Pigs were in good supply and exceptional demand; ■ poultry met with a ready sale at increased rates. Harness aad. saddlery sold well. Produce and fruit sold at about late rates. Furniture was in big demand. . Following are the sales: Wcaners and slips, 31/ (very small) to 46/6; medium stores, 35/ to 48/; forward stores, 61/ to 77/6; horses, £lO, £7 7/6 and £5 7/6; hens, 8/3 to 9/ pair; small ducklings, 2/6; ducks, 8/6 to 11/6; geese, to 13/; turkey gobblers, 32/; turkey hens, 22/.
