RIOTERS SENTENCED.
[Aast. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Saturday, 12.45 a.m.) LONDON, May 1. Sixteen persons implicated in the Punjab riots have been sentenced to imprisonment or transportation varying from life sentences to seven months m a north-western State. The damage to railways during the riots is estimated at £IOO,OOO.
