SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
WEST END. At tlic West End householders' meeting, the chairman announced that onlyfour nominations—Messrs C. H. Whitehead, B. Abraham, P. Mathcson and W. E. Presnell—had been received for the new committee, and that according to instructions from the Education Board nominations for the remaining vacancies must be taken at the present meeting and forwarded to the Board for selection. Nominations were then taken, the following being received: F. A. Ellis, P. Carpenter, A. McVicar, B. H, Just, E. IT. Andrews, 11. Ilagen, John Robertson, A. M. Spilman. As these were in excess of the number" of vacancies they wiil bo forwarded to the Board for selection. TIKITEA.
