PALACE. MADGE EVANS IN “NEIGHBOURS. ’ ’ There is a rare charm in the latest World picture which is called appropriately “Neighbours.” Madge Evans plays the star part and is supported by Johnny Hines and Violet Balmcr. There is a fascinating love interest, but the pleasing feature of the ptroduction is the ingenuous acting by Little Madge. She has ahvays been a favourite but after witnessing “Neighbours” patrons of the Palace will bo more than ever in love with her impish yet lovable ways. The balance of the programme is consistent with the star. KOSY. “THE HTLLCEEST MYSTERY.” (IRENE CASTLE.) Irene Castle makes her latest appearance on the screen in the Patho production entitled “The Hillcrest Mystery,” which is now showdrig at the Kosy. This is a love and mystery story of a most bewildering type, and anyone not knowing the story has no chance of guessing the solution before the end is reached. “The Homo of Hate,” Pathe’s new serial, opened up yesterday, and gets busy from the commencement. Pearl White and Antonio Moreno have the leading parts.
