QUESTIONS FOR THE MAYOR.

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —As far as I can remember, no audited balance-sheet of the proceeds from Paddy’s market, hold some timo back in Fuller 's Hall, has ever been placed before the public, and so far no audited balance-sheet has been sented giving details of the large fund raised during the late epidemic. I mean, a properly prepared statement of receipts and expenditure with details attached and certified to by a public accountant. It is to be hoped the at his meeting to-night will tell the public why this has not been done, and that he will give an undertaking it will bo done.. All other towns do it, and vrhv not Palmerston North? —I am, etc., “SUBSCRIBER.”
