A representative Wanganui eleven will come to Palmerston North on Thursday afternoon to fulfil an engagement with the Manawatu eleven in a return match on Friday and Saturday, ISth and 19th insts. The Wanganui association will be represented by Burton, Day, Holland, Smcdley, Stapleton (Wanganui A), Darby, Elicrm, Mcul, London, Tronson (Y.M.C.A.), and D. Falconer and Prince (Grocers). Mr F. Falconer will umpire, while Mr F. Burton will manage the team. The match between Manawatu B and Marton, which was arranged for Good Friday, has been abandoned as Marton are unable to send down a team.
