The annual sports gathering of the Palmerston North School was held yesterday afternoon, at which there was a large attendance. Some very closely fought events were witnessed and the officials aro to be congratulated on the manner in which the events were got off. Members of the Board of Governors and the teaching staff rendered valuable assistance, and Mr Mellroy acted as timekeeper.
