BLOODSHED IN BERLIN PARADES OF FACTIONS ENDS IN STREET FIGHTING. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Saturday, 1 a.m.) THE HAGUE, Oct. 17. Street fighting occurred in Berlin on Friday and Saturday, beginning with Nationalist demonstrations demanding the continuance of the war. These processions tarversed the Wilhemstrasse and Unter der Linden denouncing the Government. Counter demonstrations were immediately organised on a large scale. At first they were merely noisy. Then heavy fighting took place. The police were outnumbered and some were severely injured. Strong patrols of soldiers and mounted police rode through the crowd until nightfall.
