U-BOAT CAMPAIGN
HUNS DENY BRITISH LIST. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Tuesday, 8.22 p.m.) AMSERDAM, Sept. 9. A semi-official Berlin message denies the truth of the British list showing that 150 submarine commanders have been captured. It states the list contains mistakes which are only intended to produce a crushing effect in Germany. The message adds: More submarines arc being built than are being destroyed.
