The Press Bureau slates: The Ministry of Munitions to-night has announced: Communications received today from all parts of the country indicate that the situation has distinctly improved. The majority of the strikers in all probability will return to work on the 29th. A mass meeting of strikers at Birmingham decided to continue the strike, but as the majority was Inflow the necessary two-thirds, the committee subsequently jiasscd a resolution recommending that work be resumed on Monday. Three thousand Woolwich engineers decided to strike on Tuesday unless tho embargo is removed.
