BRIGADIER-GENERAL’S WONDERFUL RECORD. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Friday, 8.47 p.m.) LONDON, July 25. Throe new Victoria Crosses include Brigadier-Gcfflcral St. George Grogan, Worcester Regiment, who_ throughout three days of intense fighting commanded the infantry remnants of a division. His magnificent leadership stayed the thrust of the enemy masses. He spent the whole of the third day under fire, riding around the front lines, encouraging, reorganising and leading bade the retiring troops. HLs horse was shot and ho continued to work on foot. Hifl wonderful example was inspiring, not only to his own, but to the adjacent Allied troops.
