STOCK REPORTS. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a small entry of sheep and a very fair yarding of cattle at their Taihape sale on Wednesday, the 16th inst. Bidding was not at all keen, and several lines went out unsold. Quotations: Sheep: Mixcd woolly lambs I2s 3d. Cattle: Mixed weaners £2 ss, £2 9s, mixed 18-months cattle £7 4s, empty cows £7 ss. £7 10s 6d, 15-months steers £6 16s, dairy cows £7, £7 15s, £8 ss, £S 10s, £9, fat cows £lO 18s. A horse donated by Mr George A. Wheeler, Taoroa, to the Taihape Womens’ Working Club realised £IL _ _ , . There was a largo attendance, and the following are prices realised:—Sheep; Cull lambs 3s to 3s 3d, medium shorn lambs 9s to 9s 6d, shorn lambs Us 9d, 12s, 12s 6d, cull 2-tooth ewes 13s, small 2-tooth wethers 19s, 20s, 20s 7d, 4-tooth wethers 30s, 30s 4d, mixed age Southdown rams 22s 6d, do Romney rams 38s, do Lincoln rams £2 11s. Cattle: Forward cows £S 10s, fat cows £ll 10s, to £l3 17s Gd, 2 to steers £ll ss, heavy bulls to £ls ss. Harry Palmer and Go. insert particulars of their usual mart sale, to be held to-morrow, commencing at 11 a.m. The list includes a large quantity fruit, also pigs, poultry, horses, vehicles, harness, totara piles, and large consignment furniture. Harry Palmer and Co. advertise a final reminder of the furniture clearing sale at 208 Ferguson Street to-day at 1 o’clock, on account of Mr A. Anderson. PRACTICAL UPHOLSTERY.
