Record Price for Pigs.
Pi<*s are handy animals to have about the farm these days, and in order to encourage farmers to breed more of them Garrity and Son, Ltd., of the < 1 British Bacon Co., 7 ’ Princess Street, have decided to pay the record price of 7d per lb for all pigs, dead or alive, at their factory. This is the highest price that has ever been paid for pigeon this coast, and no doubt farmers avill taU< the opportunity of sending along theii pigs in increasing numbers.
