Mysterious Steamer.

SEEN OFF AUSTRALIAN COAST. A telegram from Port Kombla, published in the Sydney papers last week, stated:—Mr R.' Williams, nightwatchman on the Electrolytic Company’s jetty, has reported to the police that at. about 1 o ’clock on Monday morning (October 15th) he saw a steamer approach Port Kombla with all lights out. The steamer, Mr Williams states, stood about a mile off the harbour, and after receiving several signals from the land in the direction of Unanderra, suddenly steamed off again and disappeared. Inspector Anderson and tho local police are inquiring into the matter. Another resident also saw the ship and the signals.
