AUCTION SALES. Messrs Harry Palmer- and Co., insert a preliminary notice in connection with a clearing sale to be held on behalf of Mr J. McDonald at Bunnythorpo on Monday, September 24, at 1 p.m. The announcement will be found on page 8 and full details will bo advertised on Friday next. Messrs Harry Palmer and Co., will hold the usual week-end sale at the mart to-day commencing at 11 a.m. The timetable will be found on page 8, and full details in yesterday’s “Times.” The M.A.C. will hold the usual mart sale to-day at 12 noon. A lingo consignment of good household furniture will be offered without reserve, also special consignments of saddlery, harness, drays, ranges etc. At 2 p.m. a large quantity of well bred fowls will be submitted. See page 8. Messrs Mounsey and Co., will hold an important sale of highest grade fumed oak furniture, also superior household furniture of all descriptions, pianos, drophead sowing machines, etc. Three hundred lots of furniture from Bourko Street will also be offered on behalf of the vendor, as well as a large quantity of produce. A special note by the auctioneers states that the oak furniture now on view and for sale is the finest collection over handled in the mart. Full details advertised outage 8. At 1.30 p.m. The Empire Auctioneering Co., will offer poultry of mil descriptions also (> canaries. At 2 p.m. harness, saddlery, dog cart and harness (in tiptop order), motor bikes, coppers and produce of all classes will be submitted. At 2.30 p.m. a wide range of new ami second-hand furniture will be put up to be knocked down. Full details appear on page 8. Mr R. Eoake, auctioneer, announces a sale of timber and joinery at. the Dannevirke Woodwaro Co.’s yards on September 19. SALE OF BUILDING MATERIALS. Messrs E. J. Leydon and Co., auctioneers. advertise full details of an important unreserved sale of iron sheds, piping and buildings, on the site of tho old camp Rangiotn. Farmers should attend this sale, which takes place on Monday next at 12 noon. All tho timber is sound, tho iron as good as new and the whole lot must be sold absolutely without reserve. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Dalgety and Co., Ltd., will hold their Spring Cattle Fair at the Farmers’ Association yards, Pahiatua, on Wednesday, November 9th. Present entries number 1500 head of cattle, comprising bullocks, station cows, steers, and yearlings. No entry of bulls can bo taken at the sale. Further entries are now being taken and full details will be advertised later.
