Earthquake at Samoa.
[Per Press Assteiation.] SUVA, Last Night (9.20).
An earthquake and tidal wave has occurred in the Samoa group. It is the severeist on record the group has experienced. The earthquake was severely felt at Haupai. Three tidal waves fourteen feet high visited the island, but no material damage was occasioned. Keppel Island was the worst sufferer. Many native houses were destroyed and a concrete wharf carried away. There were no fatalities. The shock waß not felt at Niuafoo.
