BRUSILOFF'S WARM ENDORSEMENT.

Numerous battalions at the front have formed themselves into "Death Battalions,'' pledging to fight for death or the glory of Russia. General Brusiloff, in a special order, greets the movement as a noble and patriotic step in face of the enemy at a critical moment of Russia's history. He was proud to add his own name to tho movement.

«'LET THEM ALL COME!''
[Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Friday, 8.15 p.m.) LONDON, June 29. German reports describe continuous artillery and trench mortar fire in Galicia. The "Cologne Gazette" admits that a Russian offensive is starting despito mutinies and weakened discipline, adding, resignedly: "Let them all come! Our eastern wall stands.''
TICKETS ON BRUSILOFF.
[Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Saturday, 12.5 a.m.) LONDON, June 29. The best informed London opinion estimates that Gene.ral Brtisiloff's is still the largest individual Allied army. The offensive is expected to improve the internal situation, probably postponing a crisis until the winter, when the food, fuel, and financial crisis will be acutcst.
AUSTRIA APPREHENSIVE

Vienna advices state that in view of the expected Russian offensive, largo forces are kept in readiness on the Russian front.
The Austrian Prime Minister, in the Austrian House, said the Dual Monarchy, with its Allies, wa« willing to negotiate for an honourable peace, and would refuse pence on any other basis.
