May Have to Fight

Queen Wilhelmina, in opening the Dutch Parliament, said the defence of Dutch territory and colonies would have her special care. Relations with foreign Powers were favourable, but the country must remember that so long as the war lasted dangers menaced Holland and its people. They might yet be called upon to use force in defence of their liberty and indepedence. Her Majesty added: "We pray God to preserve us from that."
