ARRIVE PALMERSTON TO-DAY. (Per Press' Association). . .•■« Yesterday the Mayor, Mr J. A. Nash, telegraphed to the Base Records Office to know when Pabnerstoh ,-might expect the local men by the Maheno, and received the following wire:— "Palmcrston North men, exMaheno, arrive Wellington tomorrow forenoon. BASE RECORDS." The_ Mayor says that the men will come on by the Auckland express, arriving in Palmerston by the 4.12 p.m. train. The Mayor and members of I the Patriotic Society will welcome the returned soldiers at the railway station.
