TO CARRY OUT SCHEME. (Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Thursday, 8.50 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 30. The Press Bureau states that the new Defence Regulations empowers the Board of Trade to take possession of any coal mine where it is deemed expedient for the defence of the realm. The Board of Trade has appointed an Advisory Committee representing itself, the Home Office, and the Admiralty to apply the regulation to South Wales. The committee will meet forthwith to deal with wages.
