Methodist Synod.
ASSEMBLES HEBE NEXT WEEK.
An important gathering of Methodist ministers and representative lay-, will take place in Palmerston .North next week, when the annual, .synod of the Havre's Bay-Manawatu district will be held, commencing on Tuesday, November 14th, at St, Paul's Church. Besides the meetings of the various committees and the representative session, there will be. a conversazione in the Empire Hall on Wednesday, November loth, at 7.30, when | a welcome will be tendered to the delegates by the Mayor and Mr Gr. H. Benett, and addresses will also be deivered by Revs. D. J. Murray and T. R. Richards. A musical programme will also be provided.
