The solicitors of Palmerston North advertise closing days for this week. Plumbers wanted by the Petone Borough Council. Bushmen wanted by the May Morn Estate. Sec advt. for particulars. Tenders required by the Woodville Jockey Club for catering as per advertisement elsewhere in this issue. An advertisement is inserted in connection with the shorthand-writers and typists junior and. senior entrance examinations. 'Notice is given that Land-tax is payable on Wednesday next, Nov. Ist. ! Special bank holidays for Show week are advertised. Herbert Hepworth, of the "Rheuiin Pharmacy," the Square, phone 416, has a replace advt. in to-day's issue, drawing attnetion to the many virtues of "Rheulin." REID AND GRAY, LTD. Reid and Gray, Ltd., have an important notice on page 8 which will be read with interest by farmers, who intend coming to town for the Show. The firm have on view subsoilers to fit any make of lever plough, 1 to 2 furrows. Also a new and cheap method of mole drain plough, which can bo worked by six or eight horses, ploughing audd raining to a depth of 15 inches. Farmers visiting Palmerston North will do well to call and see these at Reid and Gray's warehouse in Rangitikei Street. The firm will not be, exhibiting at the Show.
