TO OBTALST THE EXPERT SEROPTICIAN. fB. W. RUSSELL, G. 5.0.1., D.L.0.C., QUALIFIED OPHTHALMIC OPTICIAN AND PROFESSOR OF OPTOMETRY, is making a v : sit to Palmerston North, and by special arrangement may be consulted at my pharmacy on all defects of vision requiring glasses for their relief. Sight is precious. Any loss of vision is always to be deplored. Your eyes deserve the best possible care you can give them. Mr. Russell's visit to this town is a golden opportunity to obtain the expert knowledge and services of a skilled optician. There are hundreds of people in and about Palmerston to whom properlyfitted glasses would prove a lasting bei-elit, who think they have perfect eyesight, but who really never knew or enjoyed the greatest of all human senses. * Their sight is only partial—not perfect. They should not allow this opportunity to pass by, but make an early appointment and have their eyes carefully tested. Mr. Russell's test will prove absolutely whether any defect exists, and he will honestly advise which is best for you.
CHARGES. —Where after careful testing Mr. Russell decides that lenses -would be of no service, no charge will be made. In those cases ■where lenses are necessary the price will vary according to the lenses required and frames selected, but in no case will the charge be more than the ordinary Wellington prices. Those persons now possessing frames may have new lenses fitted in them, and will be charged for lenses only. I personally know Mr. Russell as a specially qualified and reliable optician, and strongly advise all who have the slightest eye trouble to accept his services while he is here. J. REGINALD WOOD, Chemist, Waldegrave 's Buildings, The Square, Palmerston North. Consulting hours: 10 a.m. till 5 p.m., and in the evening by appointment.
