Hawke's Bay Spring Show.
SUMMARY OF ENTEIBS.
Contrary to general expectations, the entries for tne forthcoming Show exceed thos.e of last year. Cattle have increased considerably, and the coming Show in that respect should be one of the best the Society *has held. There are 15 entries of Shorthorn yearlings, and 13 yearling Herefords. Polled Angus cattle are 'also good, numbering 33 in all. : Sheep are slightly ahead of last year, although Romneys, which usually form the strongest section, are not numerous. The exhibtion of pigs will be much the largest the Society has held. There are 148 entries in the horse competitions against 112 last year. The total list of entries comes to 1908, while last year (omitting the grain and seed section which has been eliminated from the schedule), the total was 1805.
