Heavy Counter-Attacks. ROUTED BY BRITISH. (Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m.) (Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.) SALONIKA, Oct. 7. The British had hardly settled down vt Yenikeui whin across a plain from Toolova three thousand Bulgarians advanced to counter-attack. When within reach of our guns we "shrapnelled" them. The Bulgarians fell in scores and fled lack. Later they tried again, but a sh.dl fell in a group of infantry and wiped'out the lot. Finairy the enemy retired to Toplova. The Bulgarians lost three thousand during the fighr.ng at Balazia.

Raid Against Bulgars.

URGED BY GREEK LABOUR LEADER. CONSTANTINE OBDURATE. (Reutcr Telegram.) (Received Saturday, 5 p.m.) ATHENS, Oct. 6. M. Drakaules, leader of the labour party, who was educated at Oxford, in an audience with King Constantine, urged a raid against Bulgaria, which would re-unite the nation at home and abroad. He pointed out to His Majesty that by pursuing his present course he would ultimately lose the throne. The King indicated that he still believed in Germany's supremacy and argued that the Greek Army was not properly equipped and that the coffers were empt. He stated that the Entente would not afford material assistance. M. Drakaules retorted that the Entente hitherto had never played anybody false and would not allow Greece to want for anything if she abandoned neutrality. The King said lie would consider the matter.
