Floods in N.S.W.
(Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Monday, 12.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, Last Night. The latest reports state that many rivers are in flood and are doing heavy damage to the .crops and stock. Flood boats have been sent to Forbes, where Lachlan is inundated. Heavy losses of cattle l and sheep are reported, and thousands of acres of wheat have beei* ruined at Gtmdagai and in the valleys of the Delubla and Hawkcsbury rivers. Wide areas are inundated and much damage has been done. Many settlers have been compelled to leave their homes.
