w OUE SUBMARINES IN THE BALTIC. LONDON, Nov. 22. Reuter's Copenhagen correspondent the naval activity on the part of British and German ships.in the Cnttegat during the past week is said to have been due to the successful passage of large numbers of British submarines into the Baltic. A British Squadron, including Dreadnought*, several cruisers, and many torpedoers, *lCtrted the submarines till they entered the Skaw, where the larger vessels stopped, w|iile torpedoers escorted the submarines as far as Elsinore, whence the submarines proceeded to the Baltic. The Germans were t«o late in discovering the movement, but they sent a flotilla of torpedoers at full speed up the Sound. But when ihey saw the British squadron at the Skaw they retreated. THE DTJBATION OF PARLIAMENT. i ' .; Eeceived 7.30 p.m. / LONDON, Nov. 22. Mr Asquith announced that ho will introduce the Parliamentary Registration BUI to-morrow. The measure goals with the duration of the present Parliament. FINANCIAL. The Stock Exchange Committee announced the minimum prices fixed in July 1914 in connection with the British Funds Corporation which issues Indian and Colonial stocks, foreign stocks and bonds will be removed to-morrow. ' THE GLOBE'S REPENTANCE. Received 7.45 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 22. The Globe has been re-issued. It declares that it consistently struggled for the good of the nation, and never wittingly endangered the interests of the country. It now knows that its Kitchener story was untrue. GERMAN DREADNOUGHT REPOUTED SUNK. Received 10.55 pjn. AMSTERDAM, Nov. 23. It is reported that on.- i-f Germany's newest Dreadnoughts has beeu mined and sunk in the Baltic. All were saved except thirty-three.
