WEDDING

A quiet wedding was solemnised on Thursday, October 8, 1924, at All Saints' Church, Palmerston North, the contracting parties being Miss Elizabeth Porter and Mr John Robert Jeromson. The bride was attired in white silk trimmed with lace and pearls (wreath and veil) and carried a bouquet of white stocks and cyclamen. She was attended by Miss Olive Jeromson. sister of the bridegroom, who was prettily attired in blue crepe de chene and white lace hat. Mr James Moffatt, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The bride was given away by Mr John Hill, of Taihape. The ceremony vas performed by the Eev. H. Bosher. The reception was held at Dustin's, the Square. The happy couple left for their honeymoon at Paekakariki. Numerous presents were received including cheques.
