MANAWATU HUNT.
, The annual meeting of the Hunt was held at Palmerston on Saturday i afternoon, when there was a good attendance, and in the unavoidable absence of the President (Mr S. R. Lancaster), Mr D. Bruce McEwen (Master) occupied the . chair. The President's report was read. The balance shecft was also read and adopted. A very hearty vote of thanks was passed to the President for his keen interest in the affairs of the Hunt and the valuable services he had rendered it. Thfe Huntsman (Mr Sexton) rieporV ed that 17 hounds were fit to hunt next season.
Messrs S. R. Lancaster, D. B. McEwen, L. H. Collinson, J. P. 0 'Connor, and Secretary were appointed :i committee to draw up conditions for appointments of huntsman, etc. —Applications to be called to be in by Saturday next.
