NEW HEBRIDES

Commenting on the Homme Libre's suggestion for an exchange of the New Hebrides for Mauritius, the Daily Telegraph says this would give France a handsome bargain. The Commonwealth would welcome British ownership of the entire group, but would scarcely expect the Imperial Government to buy the French out at the price Mauritius represents.
