WELLINGTON SIX-ASIDE TOURNEY.

PALMERSTON AND RONGOTE \ BEATEN IN FINALS.

Press Association. —By Telegraph. WELLINGTON, June 3. A six-aside hockey tournament was held to-dav.

In A Grade United (Palmerston) got through to the final and then were defeated by Petone by 4 to 0.

In B Grade Rongotea A and Moutoa survived the first and second rounds but then tant under to St. Augustine's and Insurance respectively. The final resulted in St. Augustine's (Petone) beating Insurance by 7 to 1.

0 Grade and the ladies' matches were won by local teams.

"The Ramblers" girls' hockey team, of Wellington, paid a visit to Palmerston yesterday and defeated Collinsdh and Cunninghame's team by (> 4o- nil. This is the second occasion on which the visitors have been victorious in Palmerston. They won the present gam£ by their fine combination. The game was fast and interesting throughout, and interested a large number of spectators, who remained after the review of the Territorials.
