COUNTESS TIEPOLO ACQUITTED

The Countess Tiepolo was acquitted on the murder charge on the ground that she acted in legitimate self-de-fence. Five of the jury favoured her release, five her conviction, anfa two were doubtful. The Countess fainted. There was a scene of enthusiasm.
