Professor Wolf predicted that Mr Lloyd George's burdens of taxes would drive out capital from Britain, which had almost i -ached the limit of indirect taxation. Germany's taxable reserves were greater and more inexhaustible than Britain's. [The German Navy League demands the carrying out of the Navy Law before 1020. It points out that Germany has greater taxation reserves than Britain, which cannot bear much above the present burden.]
