Mr Mellen, continuing his eviden'e before the Interstate Commerce Commission inquiry into the New Yor'c Newhaven Railroad's affairs, asserted that J. P. Morgan knew everything of Grand Trunk Pacific's affairs including Mr Mellen's indictment for vi>lating the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. Mr Mellen agreed that he had taken the indictment which really ought to be brought against Mr Morgan but Mr Mellen feared that the indictment might kill Mr Morgan owing to Iks age and the state of his health.
