MAYORAL ELECTIONS.
By Telegraph. I—Press 1 —Press Association. BLENHEIM, April 22. Mr E. S. Parker, sitting Mayor, Mr J. Corry, ex-Mayor, and Mr A. Wiffen, ex-Councillor, were nominated for the Mayoralty. NAPIER, April 22. Mr Vigor Brown was returned un opposed Mayor for the seventh successive term. TIMARU, April 22. Candidates for the Mayoralty are Mr W. Angland, present Mayor, and Cr. E. R. Guinness. Colonel Hayhurst (Temuka), Mr J. Kennedy (Geraldine), and Mr J. Black (Waimate) have been re-elected unopposed. INVERCARGILL, April 22. Mr Duncan McFarlane, present Mayor, and Mr W. Alot;t, ex-Mayor, have been nominated. Mr W. Hinchey was re-elected Mayor of Campbelltown. EKETAHUNA, April 22. | Mr F. C. Tumor has been re-elected Mayor unopposed. HOKITIKA, April 22. Nominations for the Mayoralty closed at noon. Mr George Perry for Hokitika and Mr James Murdoch for Kumara, and Mr Joseph Grimmond for Ross were re-elected unopposed. GISBORNE, April 22. The present Mayor, Mr J. R. Kirk, will not seek re-election. The candidates are Mr W. G. Sherratt and Cr. Dr. C. J. Collins.
