RUSSIAN WORKERS' PROTEST.
TOBACCO AND POISONING. ST. PETERSBURG, yesterday. Thirty thousand men at the Putiloff works struck as a protest against the poisoning of women in the cigarette factory where workers were overcome by fumes, which Labour leaders cynically ascribe to the masters. Officials are puzzled to account for the occurrence.
